On Scene 2008

On September 23-26, 2008, the inaugural "On Scene 2008" multi-agency training conference and event will be held in Regina. Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical Services from many jurisdictions will be there to take part and expand their understanding and relationships as emergency responders.

Multimodal Announcement

The multimodal project has gotten the green light from the federal government under the Asia-Pacific Gateway and Corridor Initiative (APGCI).  The multimodal project will create transportation links to export markets and support economic development activities by establishing Regina as a major transportation hub. This project is estimated at $93 million, with up to $27 million to be provided by the Government of Canada.
